The bungalow we had was fine apart from the bathroom which was poorly designed, old and dirty. It was also hit and miss as to whether hot water was available.
The A/C and wifi were good, the pool area was nice and the gardens well maintained. There was an abundance of mosquitos which is fair enough as there were a lot of plants.
Communicating with the staff was quite difficult at times but we muddled through.
Breakfast was a poor affair with many items not being re-stocked. Eggs were cooked to order which was nice. The coffee was undrinkable.

We couldn't have been more disappointed.
From the moment we checked in, the girl at the front desk told us that she would be keeping our passports for the duration of our stay.
Be warned, this is a common scam in Asia. They keep your passports and ask you to pay an extra $100 or so to get them back.
After many arguments, she finally (and reluctantly) agreed to keep the photocopies we had made of our passports rather than the originals.
From that moment on the service was rubbish.
We were let into a room that was full of mosquitos (hello Malaria!), and later discovered that a hive of GIANT bees had made their nest in the bathroom terrace.
After asking multiple times to be moved to another room, she still refused and instead ended up getting someone to put a tarp up covering the bathroom which actually resulted in the bees being trapped inside the bathroom with us, and no way to escape.
After this, she got a staff member to try and kill them with insect spray and still refused to move us to another room.
There were rats in the roof as well, and don't expect to sleep in on your holiday. Nope, you'll be woken bright and early at 7 am by the family and children who live there who don't bother to keep their voices down.
The breakfast was mediocre. I ordered "fried bread with butter and jam" the first morning (expecting something like french toast) and ended up having two slices of white bread and a small bowl of jam put in front of me.
The staff don't speak a word of English too, so bring Google translator if you want to be understood.
In the end, it was a complete disaster.
HOWEVER my big complaint comes when on my penultimate day I return to my room to find sewage bubbling up my toilet... the duty manager comes to investigate, apologises and explains that repairs on the adjacent bungalow which shares pipes with mine has caused the problem. He tells me this work is now finished and fixes the issue. But then when I ask for the toilet and bathroom area to be cleaned, it is as though I am acting like a total princess, and when I asked for it to be cleaned with actual disinfectant, I have to go into the cleaning cupboard to find some soap - apparently only the 'big hotels' have such things he tells me! When I finally think our little argument is over, he casually mentions that the work will be beginning again at 6am. I ask to change rooms, again met with the idea that I am being hysterical and ridiculous. To cut a long story short, I had to kick up a major fuss to get moved, which created a horrible atmosphere on my last day, and annoyed me particularly as I had spent a little more to avoid things like this which I have experienced with your typically backpacker beach bungalows.

The pool area is really nice. Gets the sun all day pretty much and they provide towels for you to use at the pool or take to the beach.
The breakfast is included and there was plenty of choice every morning. Very nice.
The resort is only a 5 min walk from the beach.
I would definitely recommend staying here. Excellent value for money and a very homely relaxing stay.

The first thing to know is that once your booking is paid, there is no way, for any reason, to get reimbursed in case of problem.
Other point, if you like to be quiet, mainly in the morning, avoid bungalow #01. It is located next to the open air restaurant and breakfast starts at 7am,...
Otherwise, you will find a reasonable cleanliness in the large bedrooms and some hot water all the day long, which is quite important in such place. You'll also enjoy a nice garden as well as a nice swimming pool for those who wouldn't like to swim in the sea,...
To finish, wifi is "So So" but, we were on holidays,... and, finally, we enjoyed.
