I have been here twice, each time never failed to meet my expectations. The hotel is full of marble (Albeit we eventually learned the marble was fake - though it still gives the same feel), even in the room that we stayed in there were giant marble pillars!

The room was amazing, it was large and came with a plush bed, pillow and blanket! There was wall to wall carpeting and a desk to work on. In addition to this there was a snug sofa. To top it off there was a giant bathroom which had a shower, bathtub, sink and a large space. The amenities were amazing, things such as a wireless charger, large flatscreen TV, a wonderful selection of toiletries, a radio, and a few Westin Items (Bathrobe, Sleep Solution, Shoes) and the list goes on!

The food (Especially Breakfast) was amazing and the flavours and variety presented at their main breakfast buffet was absolutely astounding, someone needs to give these chefs a pat on the back! The bursting flavour given in the in room dining meals never failed to satisfy, however the waiting times were rather long.

The staff were kind and sweet and that is always a great thing to have, they always helped if we had any sort of question and they really did their job well!

The location is perfect and driving times to main areas around Tokyo are minimal. The Ebisu Garden Palace is right next door, and there are lots of good restaurants in that complex.

All in all, this is one of my favourite properties in Tokyo, and I highly recommend you stay here.

My wife and I and two daughters stayed for 4 nights over new years. The hotel is very nice (although slightly dated) and in a good location considering the nearest metro stop is a 10 minute walk (Ebisu station). The room we had was large, very clean and the views were excellent. I have to say we were disappointed with the executive lounge service and exclusivity during our stay. It was very rote and cold service e.g. we were asked our room number immediately each time we arrived even by the same hotel staff and having been there a few days already. Also, on one occasion we had to be ushered to a 4th floor banquet room due to overcrowding of the executive lounge on floor 17. Additionally, there was little to no food on several nights due to so many guest stampeding to the evening buffet when the food comes out. Overall it was satisfactory but disappointing at the same time.

This is a beautiful hotel. The accommodations are superb. There is a restaurant in the hotel, which we didn’t eat due to the ridiculously high prices. We were, however, close to the train station which offers tons of places to pick up good to take out or restaurants to dine in. They are very helpful regarding directions as well. Very friendly. There isn’t a spot if dirt anywhere in the hotel. Any toiletries you might need are in the room, including 2 bottles of water given out daily.

Stayed here for 3-nights and I found it's excellent! Detailed review below:

1) Location: This hotel is located in Yebisu Garden which is a multi-purpose complex with office buildings, restaurants, bars, as shops, and groceries. While it's a slightly far from the nearest station (Ebisu Station), walking around is not that difficult. Underground access also available. If you need to go to the airport, one of the airport shuttle bus starts from The Westin which is very convenient if this is your last stop of your trip before going back home like my case.

2) Lobby/Reception: Huge. Massive. Plenty of seating. The concierge associates are nice and always greet you. The front desk associates also fast and efficient for the check-in process, I don't need to wait long until I received my room key. My only feedback is that I wish they put more and clear signage for directions, because it can be a bit overwhelming and easy to get lost.

3) Room: No upgrade offered sadly, but they put me in a room where Mt. Fuji is visible if the weather is clear (see picture) which is absolutely stunning. Room size is very spacious compared to most standard hotels in Tokyo. The interior is typical Westin which is resembles luxury with their tree tea signature smell. Bathroom is beautiful with marbles, good lighting, and decent amenities.

4) Club Lounge: The lounge is big, nice selection of drinks. The happy hour can be a bit packed with people, so if you have seat preferences, you better go early. Nice selection of F&Bs but my favorite is always the sweets. They both look and taste great. All the associates here are very friendly and attentive.

5) Other aspects: Daily housekeeping is consistent. Also the room is very quite which I like for a good night sleep. Both hard and soft products in this hotel are almost flawless which something that you should expect for the nightly price that they asking.

The location maybe is less favorable as it doesn't feel much you're in Tokyo or a bit far from the actions that Tokyo offers, but it's still easy to get around within the city. I definitely recommend this hotel if you don't mind with the price tag that they asking.

We truly love the Westin Tokyo! We have been staying at this property for years and it feels like a home away from home. Hubby usually there for business and we just fell in love with the location and hotel. The location in Ebisu is really great, especially with all the holiday illuminations up. Lots of great restaurants in the surrounding areas and now there is a Blue Note Place for music nearby. We had not been back since 2019 due to covid. We were so happy December '22 to see that some of the staff were still there and remembered us - Ms. Nami Hiroshima (Concierge) Ms. Aye Myat Mon (Front Desk) made us feel right at home. Ms. Kim Young Ah welcomed us warmly at the lounge and she and her great staff, including Danuta, made our stay special as well. Masanori Mano, Front Desk Manager does a great job making the front of house run smoothly. Mr. Charles Jack, the GM is still rockin' it, clearly. Housekeeping is impeccable. The rooms are in an older traditional style but have very large windows with great views. Breakfast is a HUGE buffet and food very good. Negatives: Breakfast gets VERY crowded on the weekend and you sometimes have to wait to be seated. Also we were VERY disappointed that lounge privileges no longer allow elites to get limited cocktails at the Compass Rose. We truly miss that perk because the view and ambience is lovely.

Stayed at Westin Tokyo 4 times in 2019. When you look at the property, it doesn’t seem to be the most modern, but you would soon realise that it is one of the older buildings and it doesn’t in anyway impact the service. I specifically choose the November visit for review as it was during the aught World Cup final weekend. Inspite of the busiest time of 2019, the hotel made sure that the experience matched with all my previous stays. Managing lounge or, even a request for a meeting room in the lounge, the service was seamless. Staff was as always ready to help as efficiently as they always can. Also, the hotel is situated centrally in a very nice and calm area around Eibisu Garden, which makes it accessible to business centres through the train or taxi. You also stay peacefully by being a bit away from the much busier centres of Shibuya or Ginza.

We arrived at the Westin Tokyo via the sky walkway from the Ebisu station, take a right out of the ticket exit and this is about a 10 to 15 minute walk along a fully covered walkway with moving travelators . My tip, if you are following googlemaps, is when it says turn right at the end (when you meet the road opposite the shopping complex) is take the escalator down (on the right) to the next level and keep walking until you hit the Westin basement entrance. You then take the lift up to the lobby.

The hotel is of the grand scale of marble and plush carpets, with a very welcoming lobby and reception.

The room was extremely spacious with a large king bed and sofa area to relax. The bathroom was large with a large bath and separate shower.

Again, the room was grand with marble pillars and stylish veneer furniture. Everywhere was clean and spotless and accounting for the age it was well maintained with carpets and walls being free from damage.

The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely linen and pillows, there was a Nespresso for coffee geeks and a good supply of tea.

The bathroom towels were of a good quality as were the toiletries, which were provided.

We did not eat or drink in the hotel, but for a comfortable and relaxing stay I would fully recommend the Westin Tokyo.

It is also in an ideal position for peace and quiet while still accessible for the main attractions.

Another tip, that we only found at the end of our stay, is the station is great for food and a little cheaper than establishments local to the hotel.

Spent many a night here on work travels.

For the uninitiated, the Ebisu district is well-located, and with no shortage of things to see and do.

This hotel is just on the edge of the much busier commercial district, but still connected to a large underground restaurant gallery that connects directly to the train station.

The hotel is well-equipped. Restaurants serve a mix of Japanese and western fare. The gin bar (they serve other things, of course!) at the top is NOT TO BE MISSED. The views of the massive expanse of Tokyo, plus live music, and the largest gin selection I've ever seen. Such a fantastic place.

I'd happily stay here anytime I find myself in Tokyo!

Stayed here on a trip with three of us (all female). Extremely safe, clean and beautiful hotel. We booked a suite with club lounge and the room did not disappoint. I am a titanium elite level traveler and this hotel definitely acknowledged the loyalty and provided excellent service. Our room had an amazing view of Tokyo. Jim Woodrow was a standout in all things service. He provided us with a converter, a luggage rack and a roll away. He gave us great recommendations for a local restaurant. Jim went over and above to make our stay fantastic! We were unaware of the covered access from the hotel until late in our stay and we heard about it from Jim. The breakfast included a large variety of choices, American and Japanese. It was an easy walk to the train stations. The only thing that could be improved is the food and service in the Club Lounge. Some of the food in the evening was old and stale and the choices were not good. There is access to the 22nd floor for complimentary drinks that were well crafted (for titanium level and maybe other levels?) that we really enjoyed. Would love to stay here again. Thank you Westin Tokyo for your excellence, you made our vacation a dream come true!

Right smack in the middle between the Ebisu and Meguro stations (about a 10-15 minute walk to either), but Ebisu can be reached without walking outside which is handy. The hotel is well-appointed and our room was sizable, although crazy expensive like many places in Tokyo. We actually had a great view of Mount Fuji.
