Hotel K5 did really great showcasing the unique design of the rooms. We stayed at the K5 Room loft, the curtains amplified the relaxing and nighty feeling. It was so hard to get up and go out from the room! The bed was very comfortable and big. There’s so much to feel, playing our playlist through the bluetooth speakers, while reading on the red sofa or just lay back on the black chair it was a superb stay-in experience. It wasn’t just the bed and the room that welcomed us warmly, the helpful and very friendly staff did too, different from usual hotels. It was also remarkable to have different places you can hang out once you’re in the hotel. There is the Caveman that offers great pairing of wine and different ingredients put together to give out unique tastes. There is AO bar where you could quietly chill, ‘B’ the beer bar that offers the Brooklyn Brewery’s different beer, with really good tacos. Having a a cup of cafe latte in the morning from Switch coffee was also refreshing. Staying at Hotel K5 was a really amazing, I highly recommend it!

What a great find! A small boutique hotel with the friendliest and most helpful staff you could ask for. We arrived late at night and there is one room at the back of the building on each floor which is a little noisy (junior suite), so the next day we asked if we could change rooms and they moved us onto the top floor loft suite which was amazing.

Really clever/cool design and beautiful bathrooms.

The breakfast was delicious and the cute coffee bar was open all the time is you wanted space to sit and chill. Overall a really great stay tucked away in a super location made even better by the amazing staff who made us feel so welcome + they had lots of great recommendations.
I would really recommend asking for rooms on the top floor with the high ceilings

Wow, just wow! This is a wonderful hotel and we will definitely be back soon. The rooms are large, immaculately clean and comfortable. The shower had great pressure and the high end toiletries were great! We selected a higher floor room and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities provided. The record player selection, organic high quality coffee, snacks and mineral water were a treat. The staff is very friendly and helpful to foreigners with poor Japanese. While, this location is in the financial district, the train station is just a 10 minute walk. Just give yourself ample time to travel to local attraction sites.
Additionally, the Caveman restaurant, Switch cafe and beer bar B(ビー) are superb. We enjoyed meals at each. We thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous selection of beers at their beer bar and tacos. The atmosphere was edgy, youthful and fun. The following morning, we had the breakfast set at Caveman which was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed the Belgium waffles and perfectly made latte. We’re already planning our next trip back. Thanks K5 for taking such great care of us.

Cool staff, convinient location and great vibe with very artful atmosphere. It was as if European and Japanese culture came together in one hotel. We had lots of fun at this micro-complex. We got great tacos and Brooklyn Brewery beer at the dowstairs beerhall called B. The room we stayed in had great decor and comfort with relaxing music. The front desk staff are very attentive and always kind willing to help with any questions we had. We'll hopefully back very soon.

I stayed with my girlfriend in the Junior Suite for two nights. we have a full course meal at Caveman, the main restaurant, which was amazing, especially with its organic wine pairing. Breakfast was western style only, but the variety of butter and jam with sour dough was impressive.

2nd night, we had a more casual dinner with friends over beer and tacos at "B" and finished it off at the hotel bar which was an interesting mixology between hard liquor and chinese? tea.

the rooms had great sound system with a vinyl record player. bluetooth can also be connected.

Great location, very comfortable room, and friendly staff. I appreciated all the little details and thoughtfulness in the room amenities — the record player (great picks), free, delicious snacks (everything in the fridge and cabinet are complementary except the wine), how the sliding wooden doors section off parts of the room, and they even provide pjs. The ceilings are so high it feels so luxurious and spacious.

Also — I lost my sunglasses on the train and asked them to call the station to ask if anyone had turned them in. They called several times on my behalf, and offered to continue calling even after I left Tokyo to see it they'd turn up. They did a great job of combining incredible hospitality that Japan is known for with a laid-back approach that I love.

Good coffee downstairs, and the subway station is just a short walk away.

We stayed in both the studio and a larger room and loved both. Everything was high quality and so comfortable. We ate breakfast at Caveman a couple times and it was epic. The coffee shop in the hotel is also epic. Maybe the best coffee ever. We also went to Bank Bakery a couple times. It’s around few minutes walk from the hotel. You can use the food vouchers the hotel provides there or the hotel can order in for you on a more limited menu.

We found the location of the hotel really convenient because it was close to a transportation hub, but not a main station so it was both convenient without being overwhelming. Tokyo is massive so no matter where you stay you’re going to have to get the train or a taxi.

After exploring all the neighborhoods, I really liked that it was off the beaten path and away from the huge crowds in the other neighborhoods

Super cool new hotel. The building used to be a bank and I love how they incorporated the old with the new. It’s a small boutique hotel and the rooms are definitely tight but they do a great job with making it feel spacious. The amenities are top notch with a complimentary mini bar and all the toiletries you could need. Staff was very friendly and check in was a breeze. If you’re staying in the area I highly recommend!
