Detailed Reviews
Stayed here before crossing the boat to Newfoundland. Room was adequate, and the fact they allowed dogs was a huge bonus. Felt fairly clean and there is a restaurant just accross the street. Free wifi after the labrador highway was nice. Don't expect a palace but If you are travelling with a dog and need a place to rest you could do worst than this place.

Not a bad spot to lay your head for the night but the gift store and restaurant can not be reviewed because the gift store is empty (might be because summer is over) and the restaurant is only open for breakfast. Over all it's not a bad spot. It is worth your while to go for a walk behind the hotel and check out the duck pond.

Booked a two night stay in one of the four self-contained cottages largely because the motel units don’t have a fridge. These units are on the ocean side of the highway so have an even better view of passing icebergs than the motel units over the road. Ours was a one bed, one bath unit although renovations appear underway after which it may emerge as a two bed, two bath unit.
There are two separate living areas (one of which may become bed 2) which means there’s currently loads of space and a separate TV area. The full size fridge, large cooker, microwave and kettle are easily fitted in the kitchen area although no coffee machine and a bizarre eclectic approach to kitchen utensils was disappointing e.g. a full range of cooking pots but only one coffee mug?
The double bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean & the shower pressure suitably fierce.
Overall a good stay, but there are other cheaper options of similar quality, although this is one of the closest to the Newfoundland ferry.

We were passing through & our ferry was cancelled. We stayed here before & they had rooms available. Travelling with birds was easy because we could back up to the door to minimize weather exposure. Despite the strong winds, the room kept a comfortable heat. Room was clean. It was small but quite comfortable.
During winter, it appears the restaurant is not open except for breakfast. The font desk is not occupied overnight.

We booked this motel because of its close access to the Labrador ferry that we were taking early the next morning. It is very basic but spotlessly clean. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. If you stay here be aware that they are on Quebec time and the ferry to Newfoundland leaves in Newfoundland time. Even though we had set our phone alarms to ring, the time in our cells updated to Quebec time sometime in the night so we would have missed the ferry if we had not woke up by chance.

Travelling with pets & a 14 hour drive from Lab City, we arrived after the front desk closed. Arrangements were made to have a room & key. We checked into the room & proceeded to put the pets in (3) with cages. Then we accidentally locked the key in the room. It was cold, it was windy. We used the phone in the lobby to call the listed numbers but they did not go through. Thanks to 911, they assisted us in contacting the hotel management who came to the rescue in less than 5 minutes. That was a big relief to us. Also, the room was very clean. Did not try the wifi because we were really tired. Bed was pretty comfortable too. I will stay here again for sure.
We were rushed so we did not get pictures.
