Bakasyunan might be the biggest Resort in the area, but by for it is not the nicest. The fence towards the beach is cruel - as if we are in a jail. The flying vendors are a nuisance and the water/ beach are ugly.
The pools are big and nice.
Most of the staff is not attentive.

Quite OK, but we have other favorites.

I can't figure this place out. We rented their premium beachfront family room, which had many good qualities, including a large balcony that looked out over the beach and ocean. Yet, it had a single crappy little TV with terrible reception, almost unwatchable. We rented a smaller room with 2 beds and no view and it had a much nicer TV with good reception. The other thing I don't like about this place is it is easy to rack up bill - everything seems to cost extra. If you plan on having guests over, they have by far the highest entrance fee for local resorts. For family events, go elsewhere.

This resort is one of the best resorts I have been to because it is very reasonable and they do not gouge their customers. I was there when a tv station was filming the resort. they asked an australian couple what they thought of the resort. The Australians were so happy and they said, it was like paradise and that they would be back even if they had been there for a week.. I agree with the Australians. and will surely go back to bring my family again and again

Before going to this place we called in while in san narciso and was informed that they have a room for us for P1,800.. when we got to iba, we were told that the room is no longer available and said that there is a vacant beach side room for P3,000.. so, assured that we have a place to stay, we had lunch at the town proper before going to the place.. when we get there, we were informed that the room is no longer available! What the hell are you guys doing there?! Don't you guys understand the word "Reservation"?! We were en route for God's sake! The personel in this place should undertand that people make reservations to make sure that they have a place to stay in once they arrive from their hours of travel! I will never recommend this place to anyone! If only the justice system here is the same as the system in the U.S., i would definitely sue this place!

We were looking forward to having a relaxing time in a cozy beach resort, instead it was a nightmare.

sure there was a menu, but they only had two items available.

we also couldn't get any sleep as the hotel security staff were singing karaoke at 1-3 AM and had the machine at its loudest volume.

stay out of the pool, there were a lot of debris, both floating and submerged

the only good thing about this hotel was the cheap beer.

Traveling requires a break. After a sun kissed trek to Mt. Pinatubo, we headed ourselves to this place they call "Bakasyunan" to somehow relieve our body from stress. We didn't really expect too much of anything.
This place was designed for big group accommodation and events so we wondered why the staff cannot show us proper hospitality. "Proper hospitality" means, respect the privacy needed by the guests. I overheard some staff from the front desk gossiping about other guest considering that I'm also a guest. "Proper hospitality" means, the needs of the guest should be the staff's priority instead of their personal interest to gossip.
We checked in and waited for the clerk to finished murmuring about the site we used to reserve a room. Heading to our room is a ten days old unwashed dish on the side of our doorway. No towels, no blankets. The staff noticed that and said he'd be back and send it so we waited and waited and waited and no one comes back so we decided to go to the front desk to ask for it and see the staff busy minding Facebook page and apologized for forgetting our request considering that we are the only checked in guest that day.
The room isn't properly cleaned. Cub webs all over the room, mosquitoes and cockroach as roommates. Food service is terrible aside that the food is great. They never cleaned the room during our three-day stay.
They only use pocket wifi despite the fact that they hold conventions and big events. Really???
Indeed, a place and people we never wanted to see again.

The Hotel is offside of the main road. Had a difficult time to get there.
Reception was not friendly and the room was very small with a view of the road.
Eating facility was a long way from the room and the service was not friendly.
Internet service is available, but only in the reception area, again a long way.
We expected to stay for a week, but after 2 days we transferred to Palmera Hotel.

Overpriced rooms, bad aircon, poorly trained kitchen staff, waited way too long for a simple cup of tea and even longer for toast.
Have to pay top dollar to get a 2 star rated room that they rate as VIP.

Wont be back.

Its a little bit far from manila but its worth the trip. When we came they gave us a discount. Theres a pool inside and the beach outside is so wonderful. We negotiate with one of the vendors outside the beach to cook for us and for some hundred of pesos she cooked our meal. All we did is to enjoy the sun amd get a tan. When I get back to Seattle WA all my co-workers like my tan.
