I took a taxi from the Barcelona airport. The cost was about 20 Euros. I paid with a credit card which all taxis accepted. I am not sure if the hotel offers a shuttle. They do have great customer service with a U.S. telephone number should you have questions.

Take the train and then just a very short taxi or bus ride to the hotel.

Hotel have a limo which costs the earth taxi 20-25€ depending on traffic. A train to Santa Station and a cab a lot less. If you get a 3 day card for trains and Metro very good value you can order it on line. However taxi by far the easiest.

If you travel with carry-on and small luggage I suggest use a train (there is an self laundry store nearby the Hotel ) From Aeroport

around each

20 min by Train, every 30 minutes

R2N to Saint Station.

* from Saint take a taxi, it may cost Euros $ 5 to $ 8.

You can buy a ticket in a RED AUTOMATIC MACHINE right before you enter to train station. This is the fastest and more relaxing. The train has display with stops.

The Saints Station is very near by walking distance if you do not have luggage (10 to 15 min.)

2nd. option (we always do when we arrive as the tram stop nearby )

***Aeroport T1***

train like Metro to

L9SZona Universitària (orange line )

31 min (14 stops) ·

Zona Universitària

Go to Zona Universitària

About 1 min

Zona Universitària - L3Trinitat Nova (green line ) to Francesc Macia, get off and walk is very near from this station.

** here you will need to go out of the station by few steps (not that much ) and exit, cross the street and right there is tram (green line ) very easy and for us convenient and save $$$

Palau Reial

Service run by TMB - Route information

3:18 PM

to

Maria Cristina

** here you will need to go out of the station by few steps (not that much ) and exit, cross the street and right there is tram (green line ) very easy and for us convenient and save $$$

(I like this option better as I do not have to stress out of pickpockets as the local people uses this mode of transportation )

PLEASE BE AWARE OF PICKPOCKETS! in train station . Keep your personal belongings and cash with you (I use an small crossbody ) and my husband keeps his wallet in front pocket. Pickpockets are not Spain. People from Barcelona are very nice and very warm.

I always have my cell phone in airplane mode and in the airport and train station you can use public wifi also I found out in the last trip that there public spots in the city (We visit BCN almost twice a year ).

# you can find all this info in google (from Airport Terminal … to Melia Barcelona Sarria ), Enjoy BCN!
