A ton of hands on activities for our kids including opportunities for them to put on costumes, and get into their activities. In addition we were amazed by the animation Dino studio, and the joyful dancing going on in the middle of the main floor. Our kids loved this place and their joy brought joy to us when we really needed it. - scoll1111Pendleton, IN59 contributionsMy daughter and her husband gave her Father his belated Father’s Day gift. She and her husband took us to IMS for a Golf Cart Tour of the Speedway Race Track. Aiden was our tour guide and we got to see the pit area, the garage area, the inspection area, the Media press room, the Tech room, and more! Sunday was Lexus Day and we saw the future drivers take practice laps to get the feel of the track roads. We also got to go up to the top level of the Pagoda. A surprise thunderstorm passed through the racetrack and we had to wait it out while in the Pagoda and Aiden continued to give us information about everything that goes on before, during, and after the races. We even got our picture taken in the Winner’s Circle! Our tour was supposed to be 90 minutes, because of the Thunderstorm we got an extra 30 minutes. It was one of the best Father’s Day present for her Dad! Aiden received an A++ from us. The grounds are well-maintained, and each habitat is designed with the animal's needs and visitor's views in mind. My flight home from Boston to Seattle landed me in Indy for the weekend. It's perfect for a leisurely walk or a paddleboat ride. The park is also a hub for concerts and festivals, making it a vibrant part of the city's cultural scene. The displays are beautifully done and informative.
