Our captain was amazing with not only giving us narration of the bay but gave us a great recommendation on resteraunts close by on the water. We were celebrating my husband's Birthday. - Olga K1 contributionWe had an eye opening experience, learning about Detroit uprising and amazing historic architecture and facts about Detroit and its influence not just on the USA but the world history and innovations. Our guide was knowledgable and excited to tell us all. We had many aha moments and have a new found appreciation of Detroit since its fall out. The guide gave us many other recommendations around the city from museums to restaurants. She kept us engaged and moving at the same time, we had a large group of 14+ people. The weather was perfect, Mike our guide gave the best recommendations and we loved the more private tour in Mike’s Yukon verses the bus tours that are everywhere else. We felt like we had a nice amount of time at each winery and we didn’t feel rushed. Excellent lunch from the Shipwreck Cafe along w/ an ice cream stop at Cherry Republic. - Inspire134025115521 contributionWe took the ghost tour with our family: grandparents, aunt, parents and two kids (ages 7 and 9) and had a blast! Des is not only passionate about the supernatural, she adds a touch of humor to her ghost tales and did an awesome job including the kiddos in the tour. It was the perfect mix of spooky but not too scary. Highly recommend this tour for one and all! The kids ABSOLUTELY loved ghost hunting at the end of the tour with Des’ hunting equipment. 5 stars and would definitely do again!!! But taking this tour made it easily doable as we would stop frequently to hear the tales and facts about the island.
