The creatures were out (seal, porpoise, bald eagle) & the weather was not too hot. - Megan C3 contributionsThis tour was absolute fun! Wendy was our trolley driver and guide, and her love of the city is infectious. If the average American could have a tenth of her joy and passion for life, we would be unstoppable as a people. The contact at the meeting place was very welcoming, boat staff was knowledgeable about the sights on the 20-minute ride to the island, and the island tour guide had endless history about the fort itself which was very interesting, especially the underground bastion. Got the chills several times. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. The boat riding itself is an adventure on it's own and with seeing all the marine wildlife on top it was a perfect trip. We saw a minke whale, pilot whales, a baskin shark and some blue fin tunas hunting. - Amber B1 contributionAs someone who loves history, I LOVED this tour. It was just enough of the history mixed with ghost stories, oral histories and lived tales, and it was all super fun. The famed "woman in white" was engaging and she rolled with the punches of the evening.
