The location of the wine tasting and tapas pairings was beautiful in the old city! My daughter who lives in Valencia does this tour with all of her friends and family who visit! - Meander8142851 contributionExcellent tour and well worth the time and money. Ferran and team were excellent guides providing interesting information, on the bus ride out, regarding Valencia and the surrounding area.
The ride to the Caves does not take long. Between walking around the area and actually being in the Caves takes about an hour and a half. Our boatman was superb - very informative and entertaining. The Caves, themselves, are beautiful and fascinating. - Michelle C12 contributionsThere were 7 of us (3 adults, 3 teens, and 1 kid) and we all loved this class. The instructors were amazing and fun and everyone had a great time making paella together…and it was delicious! They gave a little history on paella and why certain ingredients are used.
There were appetizers and drinks before we started cooking, and after the paella they served drinks, cake, and coffee. - bonnier99423 contributionsExcellent way to learn Valencian history and places to visit. Luke was a great tour guide. He was very informative and made lots of “Dad” jokes to keep us entertained. Just a warning that it is hot in Valencia in July so while the biking is mostly flat and easy, by the end we were very, very hot and tired. - andreina5831 contributionsI traveled to Valencia with my daughter and we scheduled the day trip to Peñíscola with Valencia Forever. Our tour operator was Marcela, and we couldn’t have gotten a more knowledgeable, friendly and wonderful person to take us to this breathtaking place.
Marcela picked us up at our Airbnb directly as planned. She went far and beyond on explaining us about some areas we were driving through.
When we got to Peñíscola, we had some free time to have breakfast. Then, we started the tour going around some areas in town, the main area in front of the beach, then headed up to the castle.
We got so much information about the town, the castle, the Knights Templar, Pope Benedict the XIII and his library. We also had the option to visit the garden area.
After this, we had free time to visit some areas of our own interest, having enough time to enjoy a good meal.
The free time given to us was more than enough.
After our meal, we still had some time to sit at a bar to have some refreshing drinks before heading back to the van to get back to Valencia.

The hosts were wonderful, funny, knowledgeable and great teachers.
The setting was brilliant and the transport from the meeting point to their wonderful location was a great touch.
We have made Paella many times before at home but now we will definitely do it very differently. He picked us up on time at the specified meeting location in a very fancy Mercedes Sprinter van. We had an awesome time at the thermal springs and seeing the sights!
