The tour gave us a “lay of the land.” The tour also pointed out many interesting places that we would have missed otherwise. Great back stories to everything.

The owner and his wife were with us and it was the most informative way to see Leipzig. Their knowledge of the Leipzig history was great and we will do this again. Highly recommend, Sam was brilliant, lots of knowledge, super friendly and great places pointed out/mentioned to revisit for a drink or dinner (we went back to Rathskeller for dinner later that day for dinner and a few beers). Nice pacing, lots of stops & almost completely step free apart from a church or two so largely accessible. Unusual activity which brought lots of attention from passersby’s😁Lots of singing, and dancing to the music which was supplied. Also some history of Berlin given during the route.
Soooo much fun and a great way to see the sights. Great photo opportunities of the sites and Leo took some great photos of the group. Thank you Leo and friend who created a great memory for my party in Berlin!

- Peter HMississauga, Canada462 contributionsLocated in the former East Germany, this central German city has been home to renowned baroque classical musicians namely Bach (father and sons), Schumann, Mendelssohn, Wagner among others. It was partially destroyed during WWII so it has a combination of original, reconstructed and new buildings all side by side. Another historic importance was the 1989 protest that called for German reunification.
