My adult daughter and I took a tour today. It was $7.50 each which is much less than we would spend on a drink and snack at Starbucks. Our tour guide was wonderful, knowledgeable, and very funny. She reminded us about sun screen and gave us umbrellas for the sun. She taught us a lot about the bees. She was very patient with the one child on the tour who asked a lot of questions. They were excellent questions though. We got to taste some of the honey. We then went into the cute little shop to buy some honey for ourselves. All in all, a very nice outing.

Arlo's was one of several stops throughout the day. It's really just a shop unless you book a tour in advance. Was a fun stop though and worth checking out if you're exploring the area.

We might have had a different opinion of this place, if we had come here before we visited the nearby lavender farm. But we went there first, and after dealing with very helpful and enthusiastic staff members at the gift shop there, we were somewhat disappointed to find a supremely bored and disinterested girl at this gift shop. She certainly didn't promote the place in any way, and we didn't feel like staying for much longer. Shame, Maybe our opinion could also be shifted if we had booked a tour, but the weather was somewhat iffy, and we decided against it. The honey that I smelled did not make my mouth water - I've had better. I don't think we'll be back.

Their honey shop offers the widest selection of types of honey I have tasted... yes they have taste samples. I really like their ginger honey and cinnamon honey. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We emailed ahead to book our spot for the tour. Tours start at 10am and cost $12/person. The tour is an hour long and was very informative about the life-cycle of bees, management, and bee keeping. They open a hive so you can see the iner workings of a bee hive. They have a screened in deck that you watch from so you are not in direct contact with the bees. You then get to do a honey tasting to sample all of the different variety of honey they produce.

Showed up about 15 minutes to closing and they were still ver accommodating for us,including our two young children. They had a sample jar for each of the honeys which made it easy to choose you favorite. We picked the noir and the spring honey. Didn't get a chance to take any tours but the gift shop was packed full of honey and beeswax type stuff.

I was not sure what I will expect from this tour but I was so glad I did this with my family. Lindsay is knowledgeable, informative, attentive and so patience answering our questions (we have 8 people in our group). I learn so much about Bees and the honey and other products from the shop are lovely. I highly recommend this place especially with young children

This place is a neat little visiting spot with a small shop full of neat items to buy. They sell a lot of unique gift type items along with everything honey. Worth a visit if you're in the area as this trail has wineries, farms and a lavender farm all close by.

We loved the local Okanagan feeling and the young ladies who helped us out. The staff were also very informative as to the process and procedure of the honey making business :)

I hate leaving bad reviews but this place was dull. The nice ladies at the lavender farm told me to go there and I'm not sure why. I wasn't even told I could book a tour and the shop wasn't anything you can't find at a local farmer's market in Michigan except for a few flavored honeys. Sadly buying nonlocal honey doesn't really help with the benefits of honey as buying local does. I was really hoping for information or a small info booth. Plus the one girl working didn't seem to know how to handle the couple that came in the same time I did and couldn't seem to realize I wanted to buy one thing and get out of there.
