About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 427chuckf0 contributionsA highlight of our trip! Highly recommend! My wife and I toured with Miguel and had a wonderful time. He was very informative, spoke English well, and we enjoyed both his company and his answers to our many questions. We visited two wineries, and it was well worth it. The tours and tastings were fascinating, and we fell in love with both the wines and LaGuardia! And the tapas lunch was delicious. All told, this tour was one of the highlights of our vacation.Written July 16, 2024
- Jackie G0 contributionsGreat way to taste the best Rioja! This tour combines wine-tasting with spectacular views of the landscapes and architecture of the Rioja region. Our guide, Adur, was knowledge and a lot of fun. He showed us many interesting sights along the way. He knows the best food and wine spots. Would love to tour with him again!Written May 16, 2024
- Meander6165050 contributionsA great day out in RiojaOur wine tour was great. Our guides (Mateo and Martin) we very knowledgeable and just really nice people. With local knowledge but also good English, they made for the perfect go-between with the winery owners/operators. We visited 2 smaller wineries which was really interesting. In the first we got a proper tour of the ancient building and how the 'old' process worked. This was great. The second stop was mainly just a tasting. I think the tastings were very informative and about the right quantity. After the 2 wineries, Mateo and Martin took us on a nice walk around the ancient town of Laguardia, which was very impressive. We had a nice lunch there and the guys were great about selecting food for us so we could just relax and enjoy. The only 2 things I think could have been better would be 1) if we had seen one of the bigger famous wineries like Ysios - which looks amazing from the outside and I imagine is quite impressive inside, and 2) I would have like to see more of the actual wine making process. All in all, a great experience and our guides were fantastic.Written June 4, 2023
- 982milindp0 contributionsAmazing Wine Tour Experience!Amazing tour and experience all around! Our tour guide, Elba, was super nice, accommodating and informative. My significant other and I felt like we were hanging out with Elba for the day since we were the only ones that were signed up for the tour that day (it was a Wednesday during early January). Our morning began with Elba picking us up at our hotel in Logrono and driving to the first winery, where we met one of the owners of the winery and had a cup of coffee. Our guide for the winery was Bellin (apologies if I misspelled it), who was also phenomenal, super nice and fun to be around. We tried about 4-5 wines (white, orange and reds) along with some bread and olive oil. Along the way, she provided us a tour of the winery, a history lesson on the rioja region and the vines and taught us how to see, smell and taste the wines. Elba then drove us to the second winery and a vineyard, where we tried 3 more wines (white, reds) and had lunch. The guide at the winery was very busy as she had an unplanned order/inventory emergency she was dealing with, but she still made time to teach us about the history of the winery and wines. Our final main stop of the tour was an hour-long walking tour of the historical town, Laguardia. Elba showed us the incredible views from the town, and we walked around learning the history of the town and it's significance to this region in Spain. At the end of the day, Elba drove us back to our hotel to pick up our luggage and she was also kind enough to drop us off at the train station for us to catch our train. Overall, incredible experience and I highly recommend others to sign up for this tour!Written January 12, 2023
