On this Blue hole snorkeling adventure, you will be picked up from your cruise port, or hotel and travel to the very east of Grand Bahama Island, where you will then board a boat, and get all the does and don’ts. The first part of your tour will take you snorkeling over the blue holes, these blue holes which we will snorkel for 5 to 10 minutes. The second part of your tour is 45 minutes where you drift and will see wildlife, like sharks, spotted eagle rays, sting rays, star fish, sea urchins, sea cucumber, conch, lobster, and an array of reef fish. You might see even a wild school of dolphins, or turtles. turtle, you will then stop at a beach on Sweetings Cay for beach time, before we head back to the mainland and back to your hotel or cruise ship.

          Highly recommended
Good fun! Brice & Rico were wonderful. Brice was very informative about island knowledge/history. It was a cultural immersion with individual attention to our group. Kayak trip was in a beautiful area-saw starfish, conch, fish, stingrays, sharks in the distance and one turtle popped his head up. Lunch was good-sandwich, chips & water. They then took us to a spot to feed and see the turtles. Overall-highly recommend. Make sure to have extra cash for parking and tips!

Must do if in Grand Bahama wanting to experience the island and its nature
Best excursion experience we’ve ever had! I’ll start with we felt 100% safe the entire time, Brice picked us up at the port in a nice SUV and we drove for a bit learning a lot of history about the island and several of the other 700 islands. We then took a beautiful boat ride to an other island to feed the sea turtles (so many were there and came straight up to us). Then we went kayaking through the mangroves, we saw star fish, stingrays, reef sharks, barracudas, and a bunch of other fish. We then had a nice lunch with a billion dollar view. Brice and the cook (I’ll mess her name up badly if I try to spell it) were both fantastic and super friendly. If you’re heading to Grand Bahama looking for a unique experience that is both safe and away from the crowds then look no further. You won’t be disappointed!

          Safety horror show
What could have been a fun tour turned out to be dangerous and poorly thought out. Although it was very windy and extremely rough water, the tour wasn’t canceled. Bryce’s sense of judgement for knowing the conditions was lacking. The water was so rough we couldn’t kayak to turtle park, and we had to shorten our kayaking. The boat ride to and from the launch site was a trip from hell. Never should have happened. I had to decide to grab life jackets for my wife and me….awful ride…the boat almost went over three times. And last, can you believe once we got back into the car, he said we owed him $10 more for parking. Parking?! He had picked us up and he parked his car in a gravely, rubbish strewn area, not a parking lot. Bryce put us in extreme danger and we didn’t get what we paid for.

          Don't Miss This Excursion
This excursion was the best thing I did on my trip to the Bahamas. Bryce was great. He had a lot of good trivia and facts about the island. This trip was not your run of the mill excursion. If you don't want the same thing that everyone else is doing and want something different and exciting - book this one. I can't recommend this excursion enough.

Incredible snorkling & lesser known small beach
This was by far the best experience in the Bahamas. Small private beach with lounge chairs, umbrellas and small Cafe. It's incredible how clear the water us and we were able to see many colorful fish and a few beautiful sea turtles. We all swam out to the reef and were amazed with the depth and interesting coral. My adult kids 22 & 19 loved it as well. Very organized pick up from our cruise ship and returned with plenty of time to shop st the straw market. Awesome day in Grand Bahamas

          Excellent eco friendly adventure
The best Bahamas excursion we had! We were treated to a private slice of heaven on this very authentic Bahamas excursion. Brice, our guide, is extremely personable and shared his wealth of knowledge of the Bahamas on the 45 minute ride to a boat launch. (He has different-sized boats to accommodate different sized groups.). We enjoyed a quick ride to the kayak site which is a private slice of paradise on the edge of Sweetings Cay. The water is clear as gin, the sand like sugar, and you’ll see fish, conch shells, starfish and birds as you kayak up the creek through the mangroves. It was so peaceful and gorgeous. We took a refreshing swim and walked the private beach. We had a nice sandwich and water overlooking the water before we took a quick boat shuttle over to try to see some turtles. We did not see any on our day but it was okay; the kayaking and private beach was well worth the time and money. I get nervous on boats so Brice accommodated me by giving me a life jacket to wear. Pack your sunscreen and water/walking shoes and get ready for a great day.

          Paradise off the Beaten Path
Very unique experience! It was so nice to get away from the crowds and "the usual" and have an adventure off the beaten path. The remote location was beautiful. Brice gave us so much information and also shared the little-known things about The Bahamas--and the country's heart wrenching recovery from Hurricane Dorian.

          Okay
The excursion was okay. Not GREAT!! I'm so glad a called ahead otherwise I would not have known where to meet. Bryce is a very nice man but drives way too fast with passengers. Scared us a couple of times. The description of this excursion is not accurate. We did NOT kayak with turtles. We kayaked in a waterway area that had nothing exciting in it. We did see a few fish and starfish. We were told be back from kayaking in one hour from departing on our boat. They only have double kayaks. The lunch was adequate. A nice sandwich with chips with a bottle water. I'm glad we brought a bottle of water with us otherwise we would have had nothing to drink while kayaking in the hot sun. We were driven to a place where there were supposed to be turtles. Saw none. This was a very expensive trip for what we got in return.

          Awesome adventure!
This was an awesome adventure. Our excursion included snorkeling off of Michael’s Cay, which was amazing, the best in the Grand Bahama Island. It was a like a lazy river, snorkeling over star fish, colorful coral and fans, eagle rays, and tons of colorful fish. We visited the turtles at the Sea Turtle Santuary and had lunch on the beach at a private location. The boat ride was exactly what we were looking for as we explored the cays and walked the beaches at the East End. Thank you Brice for this great day!!

Absolutely fabulous experience. Anyone on Grand Bahama Island needs to go. Very educational. Coral Vita is working to rebuild the coral reefs and working toward bringing their technology throughout the world.

          Fantastic day in the Bahamas
It was a great trip! Learning about the island, seeing it from one end to the other, the boat ride to Sweetings Cay, kayaking, star fish and turtles. I definitely recommend this excursion.

          Brice is the best!
Brice is amazing! He picked us up on time from the cruise port and was incredibly accommodating. We learned a lot of history on the island, went shopping and to a beautiful beach. To top it off, he was very kind and FUNNY. We'd recommend his service and will use him again when we return.

Freeport Kayak and Turtle Park Adventure
This was an amazing trip and worth every penny. We stopped in Freeport as part of a Royal Caribbean cruise but booked this independently through TripAdvisor. Bryce was an excellent communicator and picked us up and dropped us off right at the port and our ship. It’s a long drive and a quick boat ride to sweetings cay but Bryce kept things interesting as our tour guide and shared fun facts all about the island and the destruction from Dorian that took place. We also loved how off the beaten path this adventure was. While kayaking we saw sharks, rays, fish and tons of colorful star fish. We even found a few conch shells. We were also fed a delicious lunch before heading to the turtle park. The area is incredibly beautiful. My only criticism, and it’s a small one is that Bryce seemed to really rush things along and was in a constant hurry. We would have loved some beach time after lunch. Never the less, I would definitely recommend this adventure to anyone visiting Freeport.

          Absolutely a terrible excursion!!
We booked this excursion through Viator. My paperwork said to meet the driver from the Tour Operator Viator uses by Harley Davidson at 8:30 am. We were there and no one showed. One of the locals called the tour operator "Brice" and he said he would be there by 9 am. 9 am got there, still no Brice. We waited and waited. Then some guy said "walk all the way down there and another guy will take you". My sister uses a walker so we were not happy about that. We get down there and the guy said "Brice is going to have this guy take you but you have to wait for more people". We book a PRIVATE transfer!!!! Finally, they realized we were pretty upset (we were getting ready to just say the heck with it and go back to the ship), he decided to take us. Now it is 9:30. Driver had no clue where to take us - thought we were going Ziplinin! He had to make 2 calls to figure it out. My paperwork said we were going to the Beach and it would cost approximately $3 pp to get in and then you rent your chairs/umbrellas. WELL - driver took us to a different part of Taino and we had to check in with that hotel and it costs us $20 PP!!!! We walked out to the beach and got our loungers and a palapa which was almost ready to fall down, with tons of holes in it. The beach was okay, but nothing to brag about. If we would have been take to the part of Taino we should have been, I think the beach would have been nicer. Finally, at 2 we called just to make sure someone was actually going to pick us up (trust me at this point we had ZERO confidence that someone would come and get us. Driver shows up in a limo (felt like they were trying to kiss our butts at this point for the screwup in the morning). We could have cared less about a limo after the disaster this all was. When I contacted Viator they basically said you got there and back, so that is it. I am a travel agent and I can guarantee I would NEVER recommend this excursion or anyone to use Viator if they are okay with using such poor vendors in the ports. Don't waste your time. We should have just gotten off the ship and grabbed a cab. Would have been way better off.

This was the HIGHLIGHT of our cruise. WOW, what an amazing time. If you want an experience that is extremely more personal and intimate than that of the cruise ship, book this excursion. Bryce picked us up at the airport and then it was about an hour drive to the boat. He took us to a remote part of the island where the cruise excursions don't go. We saw dolphins, nurse sharks, eagle rays, starfish (the size of basketballs), crazy amounts of fish, and turtles that were simply mesmerizing. Then we did a drift snorkel where the current carried us along - there was no swimming involved. We got a great history of the island, saw a local fishing village, and even got introduced to a fun song that Bryce sang. I simply can not encourage anyone enough to book this excursion. You won't be disappointed!!!

We enjoyed our day with Brice, Ricka and Robert. Brice provided an educational experience with our ~1 hour drive to the boat. The snorkeling was amazing, saw lots of starfish, sea cucumbers, sand dollars and fish. The views were amazing! Would recommend this for those interested in a less touristy atmosphere. Thanks for your hospitality!

We had a great time snorkeling. We had to reschedule because of the weather but the process was easy. It was my first time and Brice made sure I was comfortable with the snorkel before I took off. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Rika made us a great lunch on the private beach. We saw sharks, dolphins, starfish, rays, conch, sea cucumbers, a sea turtle, and lots of coral. You will get your feet wet! The turtles were shy at the turtle park, we only saw one, but it was still cool. Overall a great excursion.

The actual meet up time is different from the one shown on TripAdvisor, thus we missed the entire trip and had to rebook another one with a local agent. The refund is super hard to get back.

Had a great day with Brice and his crew!! Absolutely worth the money and such a fantastic experience. The weather was beautiful, the coral reef and blue hole were breathtaking, and our guide was so hospitable and prompt! We were pi ked up from the Freeport cruise port by Rica. She drove about an hour to a boat ramp where we met Brice and explored the flats of the eastern Bahamas. After 45 minutes of drift snorkeling, we went back for a quick lunch at Brice's home and relaxed on his private beach. The views were incredible and it was so nice to get away from the hustle of the city and all of the tourist attractions. Definitely recommend!!!

This was an incredible experience. Brice picked us up from our resort and on the way to Sweetings Cay/inlet, provided a great overview of island, including history, government structure, information about the trees and animals. The snorkeling itself was beyond compare- you snorkel was quite a while and are so close to beautiful fish, starfish, huge stingrays and the most amazing coral, gorgeous lavender and yellow coral! Just amazing! Next was turtle pond and a great lunch! Thoroughly enjoyed and I highly recommend!

Brice and Rica (and Snowflake the adorable boat pup) were fantastic hosts! The tour from Freeport to the East Grand Bahama was so comfortable, educational, and fun - we learned so much about the Bahamian culture and history. Then, our hosts took our family of three on a boat ride out to Sweetings Cay and to an inlet where we were able to snorkel and see all sorts of starfish, coral, stingrays, and other wildlife. Next we visited the Turtle Pond, where we saw half a dozen turtles that came up to eat the conch meat. On our way back, the tide had come back and Brice accommodated us back over to our car along the coastline. All in all, the experience using Fran’s Tours was well worth the time and money!

My husband and I booked this excursion for our port day in Freeport. Unfortunately it was unseasonably cold and cloudy, but that’s no one’s fault. The snorkeling was fantastic. We saw rays, stingrays, dolphins, starfish, lion fish, and lots of beautiful fish in the coral. The gear provided for snorkeling was nice. Brice was a great guide and gracious host. We loved seeing the far side of Grand Bahama and experiencing island outside of the tourist areas.

One of the best snorkeling spots I’ve ever been to. A bit of a drive but our tour guide was funny informative and a pleasure. I’ve been to Bahamas many times prior but I learned so much about the east end of the island I never knew about. Lunch was delicious. And the boat ride although no frills was exciting and fun. If you want a great real snorkeling trip. This is it.
