You are now officially a Trent student and part of our community. Your Trent education will challenge the way you think and lead you to unimaginable possibilities.
Next Steps
There are several very important next steps now that you have accepted your Offer of Admission.
Know your student number and email
Your Trent identification number – the number that has appeared on all admissions communications – is now your official Trent student number. Just in case, we have emailed your number to you as it is important to know for future communications and interactions at Trent.
Your Trent email will activate mid-June, and an “email” tab will appear in your myTrent portal account at trentu.ca/mytrent. Once your email is active, Trent University professors and staff will begin contacting you only through your Trent email account.
Choose your home away from home
Peterborough Campus: Everyone is a part of a college at Trent, regardless of whether you commute to campus or live in residence. It’s your home away from home. A place to make friends, participate in events that will inspire and motivate you, get support and academic advice, connect with faculty outside of the classroom, and a whole lot more.
Students who live off campus will receive an email to choose their college affiliation at the end of June. Residence students are affiliated based on where they live. Learn more about each college at trentu.ca/colleges.
Durham Campus: Whether you want to take advantage of our residence guarantee for first-year students or live off campus, Trent University Durham is dedicated to helping you build your home away from home. Trent University Durham has partnered with Durham College and UOIT to provide a residence experience that offers convenience and great friendships.
The residences, only a 25 minute direct bus ride from the Trent Durham campus using your Transit Pass, offer safe, clean, and comfortable living accommodations.
