In his fourth Trooping the Colour appearance, Prince Louis of Wales, 6, did not disappoint his fans thanks to his "dancing and yawning" for the 2024 edition. There was even one adorable moment where big sister, Princess Charlotte, 9, "told off" her younger brother as he moved his arms around during the National Anthem!

Although not a future monarch, his elder brother Prince George, 10, aka "the quiet one," holds that distinction — Louis has already become known as a "national treasure" in Britain, and this designation was given to His Royal Highness due in part to his "expected antics" at large royal events. He even made the late Queen Elizabeth II chuckle with delight during her final Trooping the Colour on June 2, 2022.

At that memorable event, lip-reading expert Jeremy Freeman told an outlet that Louis said "woah" to his mother, Kate, the then-Duchess of Cambridge, during a jet flypast. Then, addressing his iconic great-grandmother, Louis inquired: "Are the Red Arrows coming?" The late Queen humorously responded: "I hope so."

During last year's ceremony, the Princess of Wales managed to keep her focus on this expectation of everyone wanting to see Louis, while also keeping her children grounded and on their best behavior.

Another body language analyst, Judi James, also picked up on an adorable moment with fellow disciplinarian Charlotte, who assisted her mother in making sure Louis knew how to react and present himself. The expert observed: "The minute Charlotte told him to sit up in his seat, he pulled up straight away with no murmur of dissent or argument."

In behavior that could also be seen this year, James added how the future queen seems to prefer a calm yet stoic approach to keeping her young children alert and engaged with royal ceremonies that prove challenging for kids' attention spans. James shared how the mother-of-three used the same signals for her mischievous youngest child as she does for the older Prince George and Princess Charlotte, both of whom appear more relaxed and interested in the events they attend.

James added that Kate "also put her hands below public view in the carriage to mime that 'stop' or 'end' sign to them as though warning them where the boundaries were, and on the way back she was doing small reward nods and smiles for their good behavior, to ensure they were enjoying the event too."

As the youngest of the three Wales children, Louis is likely "years and years" away from taking up royal duties full-time. With this in mind, numerous royal analysts claim he will continue to entertain his grandfather's subjects from afar.
