We’ll soon find out whether Chrishell Stause’s talents for navigating the office politics at the Oppenheim Group can translate to the high-stakes drama of The Traitors.

The Selling Sunset star is among the many LGBTQ+ cast members who will be joining the third season of Peacock’s popular competition show, which tasks reality TV celebrities with playing a simulated murder game in a Scottish castle. On Wednesday, the full cast was exclusively revealed on The Today Show, and the list is truly an embarrassment of riches for the show’s queer fans: Bob the Drag Queen, former Bachelorette Gabby Windey, pansexual Survivor player Carolyn Wiger, and British aristocrat Lord Ivar Mountbatten (who is also King Charles’ second cousin) will all be joining host Alan Cumming in the countryside for some deceitful fun.

Judging from the excitement and buzz for the cast here at the Them office, this is going to be not only “the most treacherous season yet” but also the queerest. Our staffers who are plugged into sapphic TikTok are thrilled that the famously hilarious Windey, who came out last August, has joined the Traitors crew, while our resident Housewives fans are excited to see New York City star Dorinda Medley on the castle grounds. As for me, I will become absolutely insufferable once I get to see Chrishell in this new context, especially if she gets to don one of the iconic traitor cloaks.

The last season of The Traitors was bittersweet for LGBTQ+ fans due to Peppermint’s shockingly early elimination. “I know that somebody has to be the first to go on a show like this, but with no proof, then people have to rely on the biases that they bring into the game, which end up targeting whoever’s the most different from the group,” the trans Drag Race star later said on the reunion episode for the season. But season two also offered plenty of queer delights, like Survivor star Parvati Shallow’s extensive headband collection.

My dream for Traitors season three is that the LGBTQ+ contestants all form an alliance and vote out the straight people one by one, and then agree to split the prize money with Alan Cumming’s rescue dog Lala. Let’s make it happen, Peacock!
