Congratulations to Jonathan L for his narration from Frankfurt of a football match (England hit new low with dire performance too bad to be boring, 20 June). His fifth paragraph had no words containing an A. What a brilliant lipogram. Top marks, Guardian, for printing Jonathan’s witty and fascinating contribution to sports journalism.
