Steven Seagal given Russian citizenship by Vladimir Putin – video

Vladimir Putin made an executive decision on Thursday to allow actor Steven Seagal to become a citizen of Russia. For years Seagal has submerged himself in Russian culture, including tours of Kremlin-backed leaders in Chechnya, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan. In Belarus, he was even fed a carrot by Alexander Lukashenko. Although certainly not above the law thanks to his friendship with the Russian leader, Seagal may be able to expand his film career with his new citizenship
