Amazon Prime Day smartwatch deals: FAQs

When is Amazon Prime Day 2024?

This year's Prime Day dates will take place on July 16 through 17, starting at midnight on Tuesday. While the retailer held the sale earlier in July in years past, this year's date has been pushed back to later in the month for reasons unknown.

Now it's Prime Day week, there are deals available right now and we'll update this page with more smartwatch offers as they become available.

What Prime Day smartwatch deals should I expect?

Prime Day smartwatch deals include a wide range of watches on sale from brands like Apple, Fitbit, Garmin, Samsung, and Google. Prime Day brings record-low prices on some of the best smartwatches on the market, allowing you to save big on pricey tech for your wrist.

If you're looking for Prime Day Apple Watch deals, we expect to see discounts from Amazon and other third-party retailers on the Apple Watch Series 9, the Apple Watch Ultra 2, and the Apple Watch SE, as well as bigger discounts on older models like the Apple Watch Series 7. Apple Watch deals are some of the most popular offers during Prime Day, so we recommend acting fast if you see a price you like.

You'll also be able to find deals on Fitbit, with discounts on the latest models, like the Fitbit Sense 2 and Versa 4, and record-low prices on older models. Other brands to look out for include Garmin, Google and Samsung.

Do I need a membership to shop Prime Day deals?

You must be an Amazon Prime member to gain access to this year's deals during Amazon Prime Day. Non-subscribers will be able to see the offers but not complete a purchase.

If you spot anything you want to buy, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial and get access to all the Prime-exclusive deals. This is restricted to brand-new members only, though, so if you've already been a subscriber, you will have to pay.

Amazon Prime currently costs $14.99 / £8.99 per month, or you can pick up a one-year membership for $139 / £95.

Amazon Prime: 30-day free trial

Amazon Prime: 30-day free trial
