  • All of our items are handmade in our studio in Burlington, VT.

  • Yes! We often have sales and ‘seconds’ sales of items at special discounts. Sign up for our newsletter here and follow us on our social accounts to be the first to find out about them!

Product Care

  • To maintain the beauty of our lighting and home decor items, we recommend cleaning them by hand, with a focus on the ceramic components rather than the lighting elements. Use a slightly dampened cloth to gently wipe clean the ceramic surfaces, avoiding contact with the lighting components entirely.

    This gentle cleaning method helps preserve the integrity of the ceramic while ensuring that the lighting functions remain unaffected. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents or abrasive materials, as they may damage the ceramic or lighting components.

  • Our kitchenware, including dishes and plates, is designed to be dishwasher and microwave safe for your convenience. While we strive to create durable pieces, they are still delicate and considered usable art. We kindly ask that you treat them with care and sweetness in their use.

    Although hand-washing is not required, we recommend it for the longevity of your Rory Pots Ceramics kitchenware. This gentle cleaning method helps maintain the quality and beauty of your pieces over time, ensuring they continue to bring joy to your table for years to come.

Orders

  • Absolutely! We love working one on one with customers, designers, and retailers on custom orders. Whether you would like to adapt an existing form, or design something completely custom, we are excited to work with you to create the perfect piece. Read more about custom orders here.

  • We can customize any piece with the glazes we offer in house. Check out our selection of glazes here.

  • Please note that once we've begun processing an order, we are unable to accept changes or modifications to the order. We kindly ask that you review your order carefully before submitting to ensure it meets your specifications.

  • Yes, we work closely with a third party company to UL certify our lighting for an additional cost of $260 per fixture. We wire all of our lighting to UL safety standards regardless of the certification but if you have a project that requires the official sticker get it touch with us at hello@rorypots.com.

Shipping

  • Yes! We can ship just about anywhere. Of course, the cost of shipping varies depending on the destination in addition to associated customs fees.

  • “Ready to ship” items are items we have currently in stock. We can ship them out within 3-5 days of your order.

    “Made to order” items are items that we make when you place an order. We don’t have them on the shelf waiting to go out. So they naturally will take a bit longer to reach you. Due to high demand and an influx of orders we are currently at a 10-12 week lead time for MADE TO ORDER items. If you are ordering on a tight timeline, please keep this in mind and allow sufficient time between ordering and your project or design needs.

    All items shipped within the U.S. take 5-7 business days to get to you once shipped.

Returns

  • As a small studio making everything by hand, we consider each and every item to be a one of a kind work of art. For this reason we do not accept returns or offer refunds. We will replace anything that may arrive damaged during shipping, free of charge. Although our items are made from durable stoneware, ceramic items, by nature, are delicate. We cannot replace anything that is broken or damaged outside of shipping. While each piece is intended for frequent use, treat them with care. They are functional art. It is important to us that each of our clients understand the handmade nature of our items and the slight variability from piece to piece. See store policies here.

  • If any of your items arrive damaged please reach out to our customer care team with photo(s) of the damaged item(s). Damages from shipping must be reported within 7 days of product receipt to be eligible for replacement.

    Steps to take should your item(s) arrive damaged:

    Within 7 days of receiving your package, reach out to our customer care team at hello@rorypots.com.

    Please include:

    • your order number

    • a list of the item(s) that were damaged upon arrival

    • photo(s) of each damaged item(s).

    • We will also need the box and the shipping label so please hang on to this until further advisement.

    • Once we receive this information, we’ll follow up with you directly to resolve this issue and discuss next steps.
