On July 15, 2024 Saskatoon Police Service located and arrested Chase Ahpay who was wanted on warrant by Yorkton RCMP for being unlawfully at large.
Chase Ahpay appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court on July 16, 2024.
Yorkton RCMP continue to investigate and ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of Brett Schneider to contact their local detachment immediately by dialling 310-RCMP. Yorkton RCMP asking public to report sightings of two adult males wanted on warrant
On July 7, 2024 at approximately 1:00 a.m., Yorkton RCMP received a report that two adult males escaped from a correctional centre in Yorkton. Yorkton RCMP have been working to locate the two males and is now asking the public to report sightings and information on the whereabouts of 30-year-old Brett Schnieder and 22-year-old Chase Ahpay. Brett Schnieder and Chase Ahpay are both wanted on warrant by Yorkton RCMP for being unlawfully at large. Brett Schnieder is described as approximately 5'6" tall and 140 lbs.
He has green eyes and brown hair. Brett was last seen wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans. Brett has multiple tattoos, including a skull on his right hand, a rose on his left hand, lettering on his eyes and cheek, and multiple other tattoos on his neck, arms, and fingers. Chase Ahpay is described as having dark brown hair. He was last seen wearing a grey sweat suit and black and white shoes.
Investigators have reason to believe Brett Schnieder and Chase Ahpay may be seeking a ride. Officers advise the public to not pick up hitchhikers and to lock their vehicles. It is unknown whether Brett Schnieder and Chase Ahpay are still together or if they have separated. If you see Brett Schnieder or Chase Ahpay, do not approach them.
