I have worked at psychiatric hospitals, addiction residential facilities as well as outpatient settings and have over 25 years’ experience working with clients from a family systems approach.

I offer individual therapy and psychological assessment tailored to each individual’s needs. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education from Sam Houston State University and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Letourneau University. I have been working as an educator and coach for over 20 years. In my time as a classroom teacher, I have learned invaluable skills in motivating and encouraging young adults and adolescents. In education it is important to teach young people how to navigate through challenging situations in order for them to find success. I have worked hard over the years to develop the rapport needed to develop the skills in his students to get through those difficult times.

I have years of experience in counseling, including marriage and family. I have a love for pastoral care and counseling as well as addiction counseling. I am always interested in innovative ways to help my clients and in that endeavor I have a certification in AcuDetox an acupuncture program that assists people with addiction. I am also board-certified in both clinical hypnosis for addiction, smoking cessation, and weight loss and have received EMDR training for trauma.
