I have been treating adults and couples in private practice for over 15 years.

Prior to my career in psychology, I spent nearly a decade as a corporate attorney.
Having trained in several models of contemporary, evidence-based psychotherapy, I firmly believe that there is no single treatment that works best for everyone. Instead, I have found that therapy is most effective when tailored to the unique needs of each client. As we start our work together, I will help you gain insight into the recurring patterns in your life that are holding you back or causing despair. As treatment proceeds, I will continue to support you as you make what may be difficult, yet, important life changes. I provide services to individuals, as well as to couples seeking more fulfillment from their relationship.

My early career was spent working at a top investment bank on Wall Street until the 2008 financial collapse when I pursued a life change into the field of counseling.
I value the uniqueness of the individual and seek to explore what would work best for the client to achieve the change and understanding they are seeking. I work from a holistic, person-centered approach to help clients identify limiting mindsets and work to achieve lasting change.

I have been in private practice since 1996 treating individuals and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, dissociation, self-esteem and relationship issues, parenting, and complex career achievement.
As a clinical psychologist working with individuals and couples, my aim is to help people understand and change emotionally distressing patterns in their lives or tackle specific challenges that are restricting their well being, relationships and effectiveness in work. Stressful life circumstances and counterproductive ways of coping can produce long standing frustrations as well as feelings of anxiety and depression, or can produce a crisis, all requiring new ways of thinking and functioning to move forward. My approach is both psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral with a focus on finding the most useful therapeutic language to reach each individual or couple.
