In session, I am focused on being your teammate and collaborator to help guide you through your journey of self healing and self discovery. I specialize in treating ADHD, Eating Disorders, Anxiety & Depression. The tools I use are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), & Mindfulness. Working with ADHD, I am able to draw upon personal experience as well as clinical knowledge to offer ways to manage symptoms. This ranges from organization and task management, to working through how we experience our emotions and daily life due to the symptoms.
For Eating Disorders, I offer a comprehensive approach when it comes to recovery. When we work together through recovery, we will explore the purpose that your eating disorder serves, and talk about strategies for overcoming the urges that your ED has.
I approach working with anxiety with humor, normalizing it, and talking through it to challenge the validity of the thoughts, as well as how to manage the symptoms before they start. With Depression, I first get a sense of what that looks like for you, and then provide psychoeducation and find strategies to combat it.
