Diving into the therapeutic process can often be overwhelming and perhaps daunting at times. It is definitely a big shift as it may require us to be vulnerable and open with our concerns to a stranger. I too have felt these similar feelings when beginning my own therapeutic journey. I have learned that looking for an ideal fit would mean finding someone who is compassionate, unconditional, empathic, and humorous. I would like to create the same safe, inviting, and accepting space for my clients. I hope to build a therapeutic relationship with you that is authentic, empathic, unconditional, transparent, and understanding.
My approach to therapy is from a strengths-based perspective in which I remain compassionate to your needs. As a Latinx individual, I approach sessions through a multicultural lens that seeks to understand topics related to race, sexuality, and gender. I hope to assist you seek the answers you search for and hope to help bring peace to you.
