Salutation. I believe in using a holistic approach to finding self-healing. I am excited to aid individuals and families on their healing journey. I have 6+ years of working with women and children. My expertise is in client-centered care, focusing on the client's needs, and goals. My primary areas of interest are women's issues, trauma/ PTSD, race, and identity conflict. My ideal client groups are youth 5 to 13 years and adults. I have extensive experience working with very diverse groups of people and would love the opportunity to partner with you to see how I could be of service.

Sometimes life looks different than we imagined & we need help making sense out of things. We might be feeling disconnected, uncertain, or alone. I aim to help people identify and connect with their inner strengths, community, and essential wisdom and become more aligned with the dreams they hope to achieve. I believe that inner peace is attainable for everyone. I use a humanistic approach to therapy based on individual needs and personality. My style is active engagement, authenticity, and humor to heal when appropriate. I don’t believe in black and white thinking and understand we all have unique journeys and experiences.

I have a passion for helping clients who are struggling with all kinds of (or heal from past) relationship trauma from intimate partners or parents, including: narcissistic abuse and gaslighting, manipulation, emotional and physical abuse, codependency issues, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries or having a pattern of staying in unhealthy relationships. I have helped many clients (men and women) with these struggles gain insight into how they ended up here and to learn the skills to develop new, healthier relationship patterns. Jimmy’s diversified background has also allowed him the experience to treat and care for individuals with many different mental health disorders; including but not limited Mood, Anxiety, Neurodevelopment, Substance Abuse, Trauma-related, and Impulse Control Disorders.

We specialize in working with women who struggle with being the Good Girl. A "Good Girl" can be the current role of a child/adolescent or the Inner Child of an adult who filled this role growing up. She has a strong desire to be validated, valued, and approved of by others. She seeks this approval by meeting all expectations to the point of suppressing parts of their identity and emotions, conforming, and/or prioritizing the needs of others over self. The Good Girl is constantly pouring from an empty cup because she has been taught that this is how she will receive love.

Toccara Bailey is an established LCSW. Throughout her career she has been fortunate to work with people of all ages from many different walks of life. Her philosophy is that people deserve to enjoy their lives no matter what their circumstances are. She assists individuals, couples and families in determining what their best life looks like and works with them to create goals and take action to live it. She earned her B.A. in Family Community Services with a specialization in Child and Youth Development from Michigan State University (Go Green!) and her MSW from Wayne State University with a focus on Family Systems.

My name is Ms. Okiymo Manica and I’m here to service the needs of the community. I'm available during the school year virtual only and then in-person in the summer. I enjoy working with youth, teens and adults. I'm here to help equip everyone with strategies to help deal with grief, anger, depression and isolation. I believe when you have someone to listen to and assist with your goals people do better. Together we can over come those barriers that hinders the developmental growth in a young persons life.

Our focus is to offer hope, help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan to help you build a life worth living.
