I specialize in mental health treatment for children, adolescents, and young adults with depression, anxiety, OCD, and behavior problems. I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach, and have extensive training using cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). My goal is to provide clients with a supportive space to reach their goals by developing a deeper understanding of emotions and build effective coping skills. I also work closely with parents and provide guidance on how to best support their child.
I have worked in outpatient and partial hospitalization treatment settings. I have specialty training with transgender and gender diverse youth and prioritize providing identity-affirming therapy for LGBTQAI+ children and teenagers. I am currently a therapist with the team at Tandem Psychology.
I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami. I am a pre-licensed professional meaning I am currently completing post-doctoral licensure hours under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. I look forward to working to support you and your family.
