My passion is to help adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are experiencing difficulties due to past trauma or current life stressors. My aim is to instill hope that change is possible and assist in making that change happen. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable talking about their concerns openly and freely.
I bring to private practice over 18 years experience providing individual, group, and family therapy in residential and outpatient care as well as school- and home- based settings. My specialties include anxiety, self-esteem, family conflict, adolescent issues, relationship issues, and depression.
I utilize a solution-focused, strength-based approach to address each individual's unique issues and specific treatment needs. A variety of therapy techniques are used to encourage and teach my clients to increase their sense of self while learning how to celebrate their strengths and weaknesses.
