Change, worry, and upsets are a given. But so is the ability to adjust, heal, create, plan and live more fully. Challenging life experiences can cause us to feel stuck: grief, trauma, unending decision-making, constant fear or worry. We suffer when we are not flowing in heart, head and body. When we carry too much emotional pain, we need to move from isolation to connectedness, gain insight, and find our way.
Therapy can be an emotionally safe, sacred opportunity to find ways to resolve issues, get unstuck, and get back into the flow. My goal would be to help you understand yourself, your circumstances and surroundings so that you can live from your more authentic and grounded self.
I have 18 years of experience counseling adults and teens, and also 24 years' experience as a massage therapist. I have studied the Enneagram, Internal Family Systems, and have personal experience with adoption and chronic illness.
