As a queer, neurodivergent counselor, I believe that an individual's identity is integral to the therapy process. I understand that each person has a unique perspective, shaped by their experiences and intersecting identities. My goal is to empower emerging adults by collaborating to share knowledge, reframe negative internalizations, and foster self-congruence. My theoretical orientation is primarily trauma-informed and person-centered, influenced by feminist and civil rights leaders. My approach is integrative, holistic, and process-focused, in service of identifying pragmatic, achievable solutions.
As a scientist, I am driven to understand the impact of our interactions, no matter how small. I strive to incorporate your strengths, passions, and interests into our work to engender meaningful growth. I believe that self-compassion and self-forgiveness are crucial for healing intergenerational trauma and are acts of intentional self-reflection.
I am a counseling intern in the CMHC program at Antioch University and Save Point Behavioral Health. I’m a nerd who has been writing and world building since childhood, inspired by video and tabletop games alike. If you're seeking a counselor who values diversity and will empower you to make informed decisions towards change, I am excited to work with you!
