I have over 20 years of experience helping clients navigate difficult times, gain clarity, build confidence, and move their lives forward. I am down-to-earth and have a direct, compassionate, and collaborative style. I understand the importance of considering gender, sexuality, lifestyle, culture, spirituality, and your unique identity. I work with "the whole person", not just the part that is struggling. My style is eclectic, integrated, includes CBT and insight, and utilizes what is best for your concerns. My approach is strength-based, active, and supportive. My clients report feeling respected, valued, at ease, and safe.
I do individual therapy, couples counseling, and career counseling. In addition to my listed specialties, I have expertise in stress/burnout, life events/transitions, identity issues, women's issues, mild depression, anxiety, and skill-building (e.g., communication, work/life balance, etc.).
