When you are feeling overwhelmed from daily stressors it can be difficult to figure out exactly when that started in your life or what caused that change to occur. Hi there. Welcome to my solo Drama Therapy practice located in downtown Montreal. There's a difference between coping with stressors and in feeling grounded in your own strength and able to handle the stressors. Nobody likes to feel out of control or feel like they are struggling to connect with their peers or significant others. Take back your power, vitality and creativity by discovering the strength buried within your own stories.
Drama Therapy is uniquely positioned to help you work through challenges using a playful gentle coaxing to do and try things. Getting the body involved in the therapeutic process helps individuals to have a new lived experience or perspective to look at a situation. Clients benefit from emotional expression and others from guided nervous system relaxation.
Drama Therapy also utilizes talk and non-verbal techniques for your comfort. Engaging creatively might feel awkward at first but I work at your pace. You might be working on a specific goal, coping with symptoms of a diagnosis, grieving a loved one or you might just need a place to vent.
