Are you experiencing symptoms of anxiety? Struggling with indecision and excessive worry? Concerned you are developing unhelpful coping mechanisms? Perhaps you and your partner are having difficulties communicating and addressing conflict. I provide psychotherapy to individuals and couples experiencing a variety of life stressors. I am a trauma-informed practitioner who utilizes evidenced-based treatment modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. We can work together to create the skills needed to accept and express your feelings, and make important values-based decisions.
I am trained to help individuals challenge unhealthy behaviours that occur because people get fused with negative thoughts and beliefs about themselves. I am an experienced couples therapist, available to provide support to partners using an ACT framework with additional focus on attachment styles and love languages.
I believe in working from a collaborative, strengths-based, and nonjudgmental perspective. I have training in a variety of counselling modalities and can utilize my expertise while also remaining flexible, depending on what the client prefers.
