Welcome! My name is Elaine and I am Counselling Therapist and Certified Music Therapist. Through a unique blend of counselling and music therapy, I help individuals who are looking to, explore and understand their emotions in a safe, non-judgmental, and nontraditional space, adjust to change, no matter how big or small, utilize music intentionally to improve overall wellness, and find more purpose and meaning in their lives.
My practice is humanistic, music-centred and strengths-based, using various therapeutic approaches tailored to meet your specific needs. The therapeutic process does not have to be dependent on language and words! As a second-generation Chinese-Canadian and third-culture-kid (TCK), I strive to be anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and culturally responsive.
