Larry H. Lickstein, MD, is an ASPS Member plastic surgeon who is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery® and trained specifically in plastic surgery. ASPS members operate only in accredited medical facilities, adhere to a strict code of ethics and fulfill continuing medical education requirements in plastic surgery, including training in patient safety techniques. Meet Dr. Larry Lickstein
Dr. Larry H. Lickstein is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and an active member of the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). As a member of ASAPS, he is among a select group of surgeons that have attained the highest level of achievement in cosmetic surgical training, continuing education and clinical experience. Dr. Lickstein is an active member of the Patient Safety Committee American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. In addition, Dr. Lickstein is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
An honors graduate of Princeton University and New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Lickstein served as chief resident in the department of surgery at Harvard Medical School. Prior to founding Elle Aesthetic Arts and Plastic Surgery in Northern Virginia, Dr. Lickstein was a member of the Department of Plastic Surgery at the prestigious, nationally renowned Cleveland Clinic Florida in Naples, Florida, and also held positions at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Cosmetic Surgery Center of Maryland, Belecara Premier Multi-Specialty Center (formerly the Cosmetic Surgery Center of Maryland), and Bitar Cosmetic Surgery Institute in Virginia.
Dr. Lickstein has a passion for improving the lives of his patients. Dr. Lickstein employs a unique blend of artistry and meticulous technique for body procedures, such as abdominoplasty, liposuction, body lifts and breast surgery. He emphasizes proportion and form to help patients reshape their figures in ways they never thought possible. For your privacy, convenience and comfort, Elle Aesthetic Arts and Plastic Surgery has an onsite surgical facility, the Bellona Surgery Center. Because safety is our first concern, our facility meets the most stringent requirements. We are certified by Medicare and licensed by the state of Virginia as an ASC, since 2005. Every surgical procedure is performed with Board Certified Anesthesiologists and Registered Nurses.
We are one of the few outpatient surgical facilities to earn accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).This high-level accreditation is proof of our commitment to the highest quality patient care, and signifies that we have met the rigorous standards of a nationally recognized third party.
