When we identify a potential target that may play a role in disease pathology, our Medicinal Sciences colleagues begin the process of creating a molecule that can change the function of that target and that has the potential to become a safe, effective therapy for patients. They also design the dosage form and manufacturing processes and produce the supplies that are used in clinical studies.
