City of Perry 2024 Road Closures
Walton Tree Service will be trimming all trees and removing all ash trees on Willis Ave from 3rd Street to 18th Street. This project is part of the City of Perry's Tree Trimming and Removal Program.
During the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (weather permitting) Willis Ave will be closed in 1 block increments to allow for the work to be completed. During this time, motorists are asked to go around the closed area. Also, no motorist should drive around the barricades used to close the roadway. Thank you for your cooperation and keeping the tree crews safe during this time.
City of Perry 2024 Violet Hill Cemetery Decoration Removal
From April 1st to November 15th, all decorations at the Violet Hill Cemetery must be contained in a vase, on the stone or on an ornamental lawn hook.

- Mother’s Day and Father’s Day – Decorations allowed five days before and five days after.

City of Perry 2024 Holiday Schedules
- Perry City Hall, the Perry Water Works Office, the Perry Public Library and the McCreary Community Building will be closed on Monday, September 2nd for the Labor Day Holiday. Please note: MCB members age 18 and up can still use the 24-Hour Fitness Room. The Perry City Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 3rd at 6:00 p.m. in the 2nd floor boardroom of the Town/Craft Building, 1122 Willis Avenue.
- Garbage routes normally scheduled for pickup on Monday, September 2nd will be picked up on Tuesday, September 3rd.Garbage routes normally scheduled for pickup on Tuesday, September 3rd, will be picked up on Wednesday, September 4th.
- Because of the garbage routes being changed, there will be NO YARD WASTE PICKUP on Wednesday, September 4th. Yard waste pickup will resume on September 11th with collection on the SOUTH Side of Willis Avenue.
