Alexander Stockton is a producer and editor with Opinion video at The New York Times.

He won a News and Documentary Emmy award for “Heartache in the Hot Zone,” a video dispatch from two New York hospitals overwhelmed by the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. Before joining The Times in 2019, Mr. Stockton produced and edited videos for “Vice News Tonight” on HBO. He is based in San Francisco.
