Kunstmuseum Den Haag
At the festival you can see how Piet Mondriaan was captivated by jazz and how this is reflected in his work. Discover more about the life and work of this world-famous artist in Kunstmuseum Den Haag, the place where his unique path to abstraction comes to life. In addition, you will see highlights of The Hague School, masterpieces from the permanent collection in Discover The Modern and True Colors, an exhibition in which a selection from the contemporary collection of the AkzoNobel Art Foundation enters into a dialogue with iconic works from the Kunstmuseum.

Stedelijk Museum Schiedam
Stedelijk Museum Schiedam is one of the most innovative, surprising and accessible museums in the Netherlands, known for its leading art exhibitions. The museum is located in the beautiful eighteenth-century Sint Jacobs Gasthuis in the heart of Schiedam. That's where you'll see NEW WAVE. Future Voices in Art this summer, a collaboration with the Rotterdam DAR Cultural Agency. The exhibition is curated by Zineb Seghrouchni and features six new space-filling installations by The Nest (Nairobi, Kenya), Nifemi Marcus Bello (Lagos, Nigeria) and Rotterdam artists Marga Weimans, Ameneh Solati, Yuro Moniz and Elejandro Martinez. In their work, these artists explore major global issues from different points of view, guided by non-Western perspectives and collectivity.

BoogieBall
BoogieBall is the now legendary official afterparty of NN North Sea Jazz: artists come to BIRD to end the evening swinging with a jam session or DJ set. BoogieBall is a collaboration between NN North Sea Jazz, North Sea Round Town and BIRD.
On Friday, July 12, PJ Morton will come by for a jam session. Ray Escobar, Eileen and Leroy Rey each do a DJ set.
There will also be a party on Saturday, July 13, with a jam session by Butcher Brown and DJ sets by Cami Lavé Okún and Arp Frique.
More names will be announced at a later time. If you already know that you want to be there all weekend, order your passe-partout tickets in advance!
