Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $1.9M sold at N.J. ShopRite

A Jersey Cash 5 ticket sold for Friday’s $1.93 million lottery drawing was sold at a ShopRite along the Jersey Shore, New Jersey lottery officials said Monday.

The ShopRite of Belmar on Route 35 in Wall Township sold the ticket that matched all the winning numbers drawn: 9, 19, 21, 38 and 40. The XTRA number was: 5 and the Bullseye number was 40.

The jackpot had soared to $1,930,093 after 11 drawings without a top prize winner. It’s the largest Jersey Cash 5 jackpot won so far this year in the daily game.

Monday’s jackpot is $334,000 after there were no big winners in the Saturday and Sunday drawings.

The odds of a $1 ticket matching all five numbers (between 1 and 45) are 1,221,759 to 1.
