nbn BUSINESS FIBRE INITIATIVE

nbn has launched the Business Fibre Initiative, an investment of up to $700 million in a multi-faceted package delivered over the next three years to support innovation, productivity and growth for Australian businesses.

A key part of the initiative includes the creation of nbn Business Fibre Zones across Australia. For most businesses within these zones (see important exclusions below), nbn is offering Enterprise Ethernet to service providers with no up-front build costs, and at our most competitive wholesale service pricing*. Plus, if your provider signs up for a three year Enterprise Ethernet plan, there’s no up-front connection cost charged to them.

There are currently 322 nbn Business Fibre Zones across Australia, including a presence in 142 regional centres.

Below is the list of Business Fibre Zones listed by region, and downloadable indicative maps.

Business Fibre Zones:

*nbn is a wholesaler and does not control prices charged by service providers. Customers should contact their preferred provider to ask about availability, Business Fibre Zone eligibility and any fees and charges from their provider that may be applicable.  Business Fibre Zone eligibility is determined through a desktop study using available data. In the infrequent event that unforeseeable cost or complexity is encountered, additional charges may apply.

The Business Fibre Zone offering does not apply to unforeseeably complex premises, premises already served by other providers, data centres and temporary sites. In order to find out if a specific address is available for the nbn Business Fibre Initiative contact an nbn service provider.
