Just seen a comment on Twitter/X: "Isn't Dawn Butler likely to become equalities minister?"

So far there has not been an announcement about that role, but I do wonder who it will be...!

I don't think that person is joking, based on their previous posts. But I can't find any evidence that Dawn Butler will be given the role. The Downing Street twitter feed is announcing who gets what, so no doubt we will find out soon enough...

I'm not sure if this is a sign of desperation or of how far we've come, but anyway I was quite relieved to see that West Streeting has kept Health.

Lisa Nandy has got culture, media and sport. Oh dear.

(I think Anneliese Dodds will probably get equalities. Hopefully Kemi Badenoch will hold her to account.)
