Places like The Scarlet Hotel in Cornwall Anywhere in England but not as pricey.

I have a week in Oct to go away with dh.
Looked at The Scarlet Hotel and I’d love to go but it’s about £1.7k for 3 nights 😳

Does anyone have my recommendations for something similar, not keen on a big spa type place.
Want good scenery and lovely food.

Have you looked at Bedruthan Hotel? It's their sister hotel and next door, not adult only, but lovely anyway!

I haven’t. My friend loves it there.
She lives close by and regularly makes me jealous with her fb posts.
I live 300 miles away from Cornwall but my close friend went to the scarlet and loved it.

I second Bedruthan Hotel. It's lovely. Mawgan Porth is just perfect. We have a holiday home there and have booked in for a day spa/lunch/dinner. There are lots of lovely places to stay in the area. Have you looked at The Park?

If you really are open to anywhere in the country, have a look at Lose Hill House in the Peak District. Lovely scenery, nice food, small pool and spa, and lots to do nearby.

Thanks Macaroni, I went to the Peak District for the first time last autumn and I loved it, so beautiful. I"ll have a look.

All these suggestions are really lovely but so expensive
They’re not really cheaper than the scarlet.

Coes Faen has shut down unfortunately.

Marking this place as I am looking for a similar thing but just for a weekend. Currently the scarlet has no availability for my dates.
