Would love to hear that games that people like playing with their little ones (under 5) on the beach.

Outside of competitive sandcastle building and huge hole digging I'm a bit stuck!

Thank you 😊

Is it a group inc adults? We have done a version of kubb because children have seen us play it with adults. Works with older ones.

Otherwise lots of kicking and throwing balls, we usually take a pop up tent and do some colouring in there or a toy from home.

Also lots of collecting sticks/stones/shells and building a picture. A very small kite went down well

@PandaOrLion thank you. It's just 4 little ones and 2 adults. Love the idea of making a picture. Thank you

Old fashioned bean bags, for throwing and catching, and for target practice (An adult to scribe a bullseye in the sand, the children can have a go at marking a 5 bar gate for score-taking, excellent mark making with meaning opportunity for extra poncey parent points, tee hee)

(ps pls fill in the giant hole when you leave, so evening beach strollers don't stumble in during a sunset stroll, don't ask me why I know about this, eek)
