I've noticed today that a couple of threads are automatically scrolling forward at about fast reading speed.
I can't control the speed, stop the movement or skip forward.

Chrome on a mobile site (using a not great connection, if that affects things).

Me too, Chrome on a OnePlus.

And me, mobile site on Chrome on Android.

But I don't think it's the specific threads, I think it's an advert. I didn't take proper note of what advert which is really unhelpful but it had a lot of pink and purple in it!

Same problem. I thought it was being caused by a green Tombola ad.

I'm also on an android phone Chrome browser.

It doesn't seem to a problem on existing threads that I'm on but just new ones. Which doesn't really make sense.

Yes! I thought this was a problem with my phone, like when I get a drop of water on the screen... Chrome, Android.

Unsure of this is exactly the same issue but it's auto scrolling but also stopping me scroll on a few pages where I've noticed this same advert, screenshot attached.

Hi all

We're keen to look into this one but haven't managed to replicate it yet.
Would you be able to send a screen recording of this over to contactus@mumsnet.com so we can see it in real-time?

Same issue yesterday and today.
Chrome on Samsung mobile.
It's really annoying.

@LilyMumsnet I've just emailed you a screen recording of it.

Thanks so much for the video - we'll get back to you after we've had a proper look!

It's still doing it!

@Pinkywoo please can you let us know which device, browser, and version of the site you're using. And if you can remember which thread you were on when it last happened, that would be very helpful too.

It's done several times today but this was the last one (although now I've gone back to it it's not doing it), I'm on an android phone using Chrome, on the mobile site not the app.

Sorry you're all suffering too but kind of relieved it's not just me.
