I feel much happier and more surprised than I expected to by seeing this. I’ve not seen the full tally of Oxbridge but that looks incredibly high too.

Do you mean you’d be pleased or unhappy with a high number of oxbridge students?

id have thought oxbridge out of state secondary would be something to celebrate. It means very bright brains at the top (not dismissing privately educated who get to oxbridge, but certainly 30 years ago when this lot were studying then the percentage from private was disproportionate)

Pleased! Bright, often working class kids going to Oxbridge in the 90s and early 00s is something very much to be celebrated. I saw a stat that it was 40%.
