Good quality maternity leggings.

Can anyone recommend any good quality thick maternity leggings? Nearly 10 weeks and I'm now struggling to fit into my normal jeans. Really want some comfy leggings but want them to be thick (so no one can see my pants!).

If you’re short of time, here’s a quick summary of some great maternity leggings recommendations from this thread and elsewhere on Mumsnet:

Mumsnetters really rate the LOVALL range of maternity leggings (formerly known as Love Leggings)

Lululemon leggings are rated for high-quality and comfortable fit even though they don’t have an official maternity range

Mumsnetters have long rated Seraphine for their high-quality maternity leggings (and maternity clothes in general, for that matter!)

And of course, we couldn’t give a leggings recommendation without mentioning the Mumsnet-favourite ‘buttery soft’ Amazon leggings - here’s the maternity version

My pre-maternity high-waisted lululemon leggings have been the most comfortable over bump and best fitting, and I have put on 3stone! I found cheaper ones from love leggings and seraphine have just not lasted well beyond a few washes, not as comfortable on bump, and not as good quality.

JoJo Maman Bebe do lovely thick leggings and they have an offer on if you buy two at the moment. I have them in navy and black and can get away with wearing them with a nice jumper out and about. Still comfy at 23 weeks.

I can honestly recommend leggings from Shein, I'm 17 weeks and already placed second order for over the bum Capri type ones. I only wear sport stretchy leggings, don't like cotton type and find Shein having very good quality, variety of choice and can't beat price too.

I also loved my Love Leggings!

The ones I got had a soft lining which was great for winter.

I found them to come up a little small and would size up next time!

Love leggings. I don’t usually wear leggings ever but wanted to try some when pregnant. They were really comfortable and very thick, definitely not see through at all

I still wear my adanola leggings from before pregnancy, they’re so comfortable, don’t fall down and are definitely not see through!

I got the jojo leggings last time and have just taken everything out my wardrobe that doesn’t fit me today (almost 20 weeks) and have ordered another pair as I didn’t have much left I could actually wear. They’re like workout leggings the ones I have. For normal black leggings I always get next ones but I feel you have to wear something long with them even though they aren’t see through. I got serephine jeans and the jojo leggings on vinted!

Would definitely go vinted for tops, jeans even dresses. Pregnancy time flies and there is no need to splash ridiculous amount of money as maternity clothes are generally overpriced. I only buy new leggings on Shein as it's something you wear more often and don't change daily like tops so don't fancy second hand. Also got couple of summer outfits there, Shein has sale right now...well they are pretty much constant sale lol.

Love Leggings

Get yourself 2 or 3 pairs and rotate them. I lived in mine last year and still wear them now really must try to do something about my mum tum so be warned - you don't want to let them go because they are so comfortable.

Love Leggings. I like the revitalize ones slightly more than the everyday ones but both are thick and they don’t fall down they’re fab

Love leggings! I got a few pairs of the fleecey over bump ones and have lived in them
First time wearing Leggings so was reluctant thinking they'd all look see through but these are great

Yes! Another vote for love leggings. They are literally the most comfortable things I've ever worn...ever!! Have x2 pairs and will probably get some more in different colours 🙌

Hey I recently brought some from a brand called Mum Essentials. They are a fairly new brand which I found on Instagram. I was quite sceptical, but in all honesty I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived, really soft and thick. I've ordered another pair because it seems like maternity leggings are so hard to find!

They should come up on google but if not check them out on Instagram x
