Would recommend Auchrannie Spa Resort on the Isle of Arran which is a 55 minute ferry journey from Ardrossan, which in turn is about 45 minutes drive from Glasgow.
I'd stayed here before pre-kids but took advantage of their special winter breaks and would recommend it - very relaxing and great facilities.
Rooms are gorgeous, either double or twin with a sofa bed which converts to sleep another 2. A cot was also provided. Normally the tarrif is on a room only basis but their winter deal includes breakfast and use of all facilities plus getting the car and 2 adults to and from the island (which is costly in itself) for the princely sum of £84 per night.
There is a dining area which serves food most of the day and a baby listening service. We ate in the posh hotel part nearby on the second night and could still use the baby listening service.
