Majorca, Crete or elsewhere?

2 adults and DS 6, 1 week start of June unsure on board yet!

I've been to Majorca quite a lot growing up so feel a bit biased towards there but I don't want to limit our search to there! We've also had a look at Crete but unsure of what's around, if it's kid friendly etc

Has anyone been to either of the above who can advise good resorts or trips out, same goes for anywhere else where you might have enjoyed with kids a similar age Smile

TIA!

There are lots of really child-friendly resorts in Crete. We like Hersonissos. It has a couple of good water parks, aquariums, pirate boat trips, dinosaur park, open air museum, labyrinth park…. From Hersonissos you can visit Agios Nikolaos, take a boat trip to Spinalonga and visit Elounda.

We have been to Elounda a few times with children from the age of 1 and that's very child friendly. Would recommend a villa or self catering apartment as the food in the resort is of a really high standard. Would recommend a taxi from the airport though as the transfer (if booking a package) can be very long.

Definitely another vote for Crete - the Heraklion side if you can. Loads of lovely family resorts, lots of kid friendly activities outside resorts, very beautiful, cheaper than Malaga, and Greek culture is so pro-child...you'll have a wonderful time

Corfu is lovely too.

I would check flight availability. I recently looked at Crete but from our regional airport the flights were horrific.

Yeah this is the only thing that's got me in two minds about Crete now!

I've been looking all afternoon after the recommendations, thanks all! Others also welcome Smile
